She was predeceased by: her father Samuel Riss; her husband Morris Sussman; her siblings, Harriet, Edward and Simon; her son Martin; and her son-in-law Jerry Connell.
She is survived by: her former husband Irving Goldstein; her child Marty; her close friends, Barbara Cohen, Ruth Vlock and Marian Finkle; her friends, Rabbi Suzanne Schermerhorn, Donna Kramer, Estelle Blatt and Bart Cerasuolo; her children, Marsha Connell of Santa Rosa, CA and Joel Sussman (Lisa La Plante) of Niskayuna, NY; her daughter-in-law Jan Simonin Sussman; her grandchildren, Reba Connell, Samuel Connell (Amy), Simone Sussman and Nicole Simonin; her great grandchild Noah John Connell; and her nieces and nephews, Michael Rosenberg, Helen Rosenberg, Hilary Hersh, David Riss, Adam Riss, Bob Blanchard, Fred Riss and Jerry Riss.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, her daughter and son-in-law invited Rose to stay on a permanent basis.
