He is survived by: his significant other Phyllis Millard; his brother Ronald "Rick" Millard (Linda) of Arizona; and his children, Richard Black (Lisa) of Tennessee and Barbara Black Petersen (Mark) of California. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six nephews; five nieces; five great-nephews; and thirteen great-nieces.
