He was predeceased by: his wife Bimla Prasad; his parents, Guruah Prasad and Ram Kaur (Mata); and his siblings, Guru Prasad, Shiu Prasad, Chand Kaur and Phul Mati Baran.
He is survived by: his siblings, Hari Prasad and Sataya Wati; his children, Suman, Lalin, Nunjale, Navin and Tony; his children-in-law, Hirdesh Chand, Yatish Chand and Teresina; his grandchildren, Leticia, Charlene, Joshua, Ashley, Andrew, Cynthia, Cadell and Amanda; and his great grandchildren, Zander and Dante.
