It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmo Earthel Stroud of Selma, California, who passed away on April 28, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Elmo leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Stroud and Vennie Stroud; and his son Mark Stroud. He is survived by: his wife Marie Stroud; and his children, Mike Stroud of Selma, Mona Gaynor (Garry) of Fresno, Margo Dean (Jerry) of Hanford and Marla Gilmore (Darren) of Caruthers. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to their favorite charity.
