It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gola May Gillespie of Selma, California, who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Gola shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gola farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brown and Lucretia Brown; and her husband Donald James Gillespie. She is survived by: her children, Dawn Gillespie Goble, Cynthia Gillespie King, Denise Gillespie and Dale Gillespie. She is also survived by her 4 children, several grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
