She was predeceased by: her sister Dorothy; her husband Marcus S. Absher; and her son Marcus Eugene "Gene" Absher. She is survived by: her daughters, Marsha Ford (Cliff), Carla Luchetti Duus (Hans) and Cynthia Scheil (Dan); her grandchildren, Stephanie Payne, Joseph Payne, Valarie Labrentz (Anton), Nicklaus Luchetti, Robert Absher, Colin Scheil and Peter Scheil; her great grandchildren, Brian, Steven and Audrey McPhetridge; and her grandchildren, Joy Ann, Jason, Lucas, Lily Payne, Charlotte and William Labrentz.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Hoffmann Hospice, Bakersfield.
