Alan, born on April 16, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas and Catherine Rose Reisert Leahy; and his siblings, Harold, Bill and Catherine.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Malone); his children, Elizabeth, Kathleen Bergauer (Phil) and Alan John (Luz); his grandsons, Stephen Bergauer (Sam Singh), Kevin Bergauer, Alan Patrick Leahy and Andrew Leahy; and his brother James T. Leahy (S. M.). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
