We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Donald Preston Byrd of Shingle Springs, California, born in Connersville, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Preston J. Byrd and Lavada Violet Byrd; his siblings, Clyde, Loretta, Rosie, Carolyn "Susie" and Georgianna; and his daughter Cindy Byrd.

He is survived by : his daughter Terri Byrd (Jorge); his grandsons, Aric and Sean Lehr; his siblings, George "Bill" Byrd (Lorinda) and Betty Channel; and his uncle Donny. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made to the El Dorado County Veterans Organization.
