He is survived by: his wife Juanita "Janie" Huerta; his children, Veronica of Erika, AJ and Sarra Huerta; his stepdaughter Melissa Maldonado; and his sisters, Stella Laurel and Rachel Evans. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren.
