It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Veliz (Soledad, California), who passed away on May 7, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Espiridion Villa and Clara Villa; her husband Raul Veliz; and her siblings, Rudy Villa, Frank Villa, George Villa, Joanne Lopez, Eleanor Sanchez and Carmen Serrano.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Veliz, Raul "Chato" Veliz and Lisa; her grandchildren, Terry Vallejo, Victor Vallejo, Joshua Vallejo and Nicolas Veliz; her great grandchildren, Jeremiah and Davion Vallejo; and her siblings, Richard Villa, Virginia Rosillo, Yolanda Diaz, Esperanza "Pilly" Villa, Rita Garcia and Linda Castillo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
