We are sad to announce that, on December 4, 2025, at the age of 86, Alvin Silva (Sonoma, California) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alvin Silva to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Silva of Petaluma and Alba Silva (Petaluma Creamery); and his son Christopher William Silva (Loyola Marymount University Student Body) of Santa Rosa. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Weiland Silva; his children, Jeffrey and Dorothy Cassina Silva; his grandchildren, Joseph, Sydney of Santa Rosa, Lauren, Benjamin, Molly and Ari of Sacramento; and his uncle Henry Zucchetti of Santa Rosa.

In lieu of flowers, Al requested that any grateful donations be made to the charities he believed in, including: St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Tunnels to Towers Foundation, or Wounded Warriors of America.
