It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Dowd (Sonoma, California), who passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Linda departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Linda may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Linda leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Tim Dowd; and her parents, Margerie Gannon and Peter Pat Hilsen. She is survived by: her cousin Shannon Patricks; her son Michael Patricks of Santa Rosa; and her stepdaughter Arleen Dowd of Oxford, Mississippi..
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Episcopal Church (275 E Spain St, Sonoma, CA 95476).
