He was predeceased by: his brother Troy Daryl Mattingly; and his grandparents, Herbert, Dorothy Nordstrom, William Jennings and Hilda Mattingly.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Xiomara Mattingly; his children, Dale Allen Mattingly Jr., Stephen Allen Mattingly, Christopher Saul Mendoza, Angel Mendoza and Jocelyn Maria Mendoza; his grandchildren, Troy Nigel Mattingly and Chanya Danielle Mattingly; his parents, Robert Allen Mattingly and Sharon Lee Mattingly; his siblings, Brenda Bauer (Gregory Bauer), Kristine Mattingly (James Koehl), Terry Francis Mattingly and Ricky Allen Mattingly; his siblings-in-law, Luis Alecio, Josue Alecio, Terri-Lynn Chaplin, Claudia Alecio and Laura Alecio; and his daughters-in-law, Kariana M. Mattingly and Christina Mattingly. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Monarch Memorial (2801 F St, Bakersfield, CA 93301).
