He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Carrie Cosentino, Eric Byrne (Sharis) and Bryan Byrne (Shana); his grandchildren, Evan Cosentino, Erin Cosentino, Owen Cosentino, Kasey Byrne and Brayden Byrne; his stepgranddaughter Shavonie Kong; his siblings, Jennifer St. Leonard, Ray Byrne (Dominique), Richard Byrne, Sandi Kenneally (John), Joe Byrne (Carol) and James Byrne (Patricia); his sister-in-law Gloria Carniglia; and his pets, Piper, Bailey and Daisy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Garden Chapel (885 El Camino Real, South San Francisco, CA 94080).
