He was predeceased by: his brother Bruce; and his daughter Sonja. He is survived by: his friend Ham; his wife Martha; his children, Lisa (Donovan) and Ernest (Kim); and his siblings, Don, Martha (Dan) and Norma (Tony). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nephews and nieces and other important family members and friends.
