He was predeceased by : his wife Judy; his brother Dwayne; his brother-in-law Fred Stindt; his parent Marge Korte; his parents-in-law, Fred and Jane Stindt; his nephew Ben Krug; his sister-in-law Jane Ferguson; and also Judy.

He is survived by : his children, Scott Korte (Christine) and Melissa Osborne (Barry); his grandchildren, Dylan Korte, Maxim Osborne (Alexis), Atticus Osborne and Silas Osborne; and his parents-in-law, David Korte (Karen Erickson), JoAnn Cowdin (Roger), Phil Korte, Greg Korte (Debbie) and Susan Stindt (Cal Bertram). He is also survived by his family, friends, and co-workers.
