She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mikha Mateka and Habooba Azzo; her husband Hermiz; and her children, Bassam, Naseem, Haitham, Samin, Saeb, Essam, Ebtisam and Ebtihal. She was also cherished by 19 Grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Chaldean Catholic Church (799 E Washington Ave, El Cajon, CA 92020). A burial was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (4470 Hilltop Dr, San Diego, CA 92102). Visitation was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Royal Palace (1340 Broadway, El Cajon, CA 92021). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (4470 Hilltop Dr, San Diego, CA 92102).
