Barbara Covey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Covey in Stockton, California, born in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on June 13, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Barbara's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Barbara has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer McCroskey and Lorene McCroskey; and her husband Paul Covey. She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Covey, Lori Peck (Jim) and Sallie Covey; and her granddaughter Leona Tia. She is also survived by daughters, son-in-law, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Central Church of Christ (4799 E Foppiano Ln, Stockton, CA 95212).
Donations can be made in Barbara's name to the American Cancer Society and Suncrest Hospice.
