He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Olague and Martina Perez; his brother Jose Luis; and his son Antonio. He is survived by: his wife Stella Perez; his sons, Michael (Kiki), Raul (Rulie), Ruperto (Tani) and Salvador (Bebe); and his siblings, Maria Rojas and Humberto Perez of Acosta. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family.
