It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Dexter Peterson of Stockton, California, born in Redding, California, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his father Gene Peterson; his wife Debbie; his children, Hillary, Eric Rawlings, Andrew Peterson, Amanda Bowman, Seth, Brittany Peterson, Heather, Will Hellickson, Dustin and Crystal Fleming; and his grandchildren, Lexi, Cali, Connor, Sadie, Jase, Max, June and Ellis.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation in honor of Stephen's military service.
