She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Gorman and Lauralouise Gorman (Rettig); her husband Richard Ontiveros; her brothers, Russell and James Gorman; and her stepson Richard Ontiveros Jr..
She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Rebecca Hatcherson (Damon) of Hawthorne, CA and Teresa Hurtado (Anthony) of Brentwood, CA; and her sister Patricia "Patti" Smith of Milan. She is also survived by 9 step grandchildren; and 6 step great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home (707 S Main St, Milan, IN 47031). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given in honor of Barb to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
