He was predeceased by: his sister Maria Martinez. He is survived by: his children, Ricky, Transita, Monica and Manuel; and his siblings, John Diaz (Tammy), Frank Diaz (Troy), Anna Lopez (Marlon), Jenny Black (Glenn), Fernando Diaz (Sybil), Tino Diaz (Joanna) and Jesse Diaz. He is also survived by Ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Lima & Campagna Sunnyvale Mortuary (1315 Hollenbeck Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94087). A Mass will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Martin Catholic Church (590 Central Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94086).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any expressions of sympathy be sent as memories and stories of Richard.
