He was predeceased by: his wife Yuet; his sons, Ken and Stanley; and his brother Yuen. He is survived by: his children, Michael and Deeann (Chris Lemoine); his granddaughters, Abigail and Leigh Anne; his sister Landa (Roger Wong); his sister-in-law Grace; and his sisters, Betty (George Ou Yang), Susanna (Edward Tse) and Linda. He is also survived by many loving nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, friends and loved ones are invited to honor Yin's memory by making a donation to a favorite charity or cause in his name. Memorial contributions made directly to the family will be donated to various charities to honor Yin's lifelong values of kindness, generosity, compassion, and helping others.
