He was predeceased by: his father Erwin Shaltes; and his brother Ronald Shaltes. He is survived by: his children, April Hudak, Michelle Shaltes, Daniel Shaltes and Emily Shaltes (Corey Jones); his grandchildren, Sean, Kristin, Jessica and Lucas Hudak; and his extended family Shirlee Shaltes (Nabers). He is also survived by 5 siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.
