He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kirby and Effie Kirby; and his siblings, Billie Smith, Georgia Yaney, Lucky Kirby and Jackie Boyd.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Kirby; his son Alan Kirby (Karen); his granddaughters, Alyson Graben (James) and Eryn Maumau (Salesi); his daughter Becky Hudson (James); his grandsons, Curtis Hudson (Mikaela) and Alan Hudson (Julie); his sons, Daniel Kirby (Nara), Jack Kirby (Kyla) and Henry Kirby; and the mother of his children Sallie Kirby. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
