She was predeceased by : her husband Gerlin Melton; her sons, Duane Melton Sr. and Ronnie Melton; and her grandson Michael Patterson. She is survived by : her grandchildren, Duane, Miranda Melton, Stephanie Beard, Christopher, Alyssa Beard, Kayla Melton, Sarah Melton, Brittney Melton, Matthew Melton, Bradley and Heather Melton; her daughter Jane Melton; and her brothers, Lawrence Wardrop (Anita), Steven Nettles (Lindsey) and Frank Nettles (Dena). She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
