She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Addie Mae and Malcome Fulton Varner; her sons, Allen Larry, Ralph Edwin and Matthew Lee; her husband Allen Lee; her grandson Allen Larry Brookshire Jr.; and her great grandchild Lee Thomas.

“We are so saddened to hear about the loss of your mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. My husband has wonderful memories of spending time with you on your ranch when he was younger. He thought a lot of his great aunt and uncle because of the wonderful examples they set by the way they lived their lives.
