She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Charles McFall and Mary Jane Bente; her friend Rob Nylander; her son Alvin Strickhouser III; her husband Ray Strickhouser; her brother Lynn McFall; her daughter Moreen Strickhouser-Monzon (Julio Monzon); her grandsons, Nicholas, Brandon and Christopher Monzon; her great grandchildren, Alvin Strickhouser Jr. and Nathan Strickhouser; and her siblings, Rachel Giliberto, Linda Curtin, Laurie Roan, Vicki Williams and Michael Bente. She was also cherished by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and all her friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting all charitable donations be made to the Have a Heart Humane Society in Tehachapi, California.
