He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Miller and Delbert Black of Jackson County, Iowa.; and his sister Evelyn Van Horn. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Black; his daughters, Mika Amato (Paul), Lore Slover (Russell) and Jana Severson (Greg); his grandchildren, Ross (Tamara), Cara, Megan (Kris), Amelia and Jack; his sister Joan Lowe (Mike); Riley (Emily), Dylan, Gwyneth, Wyatt, Audrey, Myles, Elyse, Emmy Joy, Jayce, Alyana, Giana, Avery, Ashlyn, Everett and Adelyn. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Daryl's honor to the Wounded Warrior Project.
