She was predeceased by: her parents, Seymour Blake and Cornelia Van Blake; and her brother Seymour (Charles). She is survived by: her siblings, Claudia, Joan, Michael, Nancy, Clare, Fay and Paul. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
With a health setback during the pandemic, Mary moved east to Durham, NC to be closer to family.
So even during her own bouts of treatment and health crises over the years, Mary made it her mission to fundraise, donate and support her community that had given her so much.
