William leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. William’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew William will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his mother Virgina Wayne Hunt. He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, David Hunt (Rachael), Diane Barnett (Doug) and Duane Hunt; his grandchildren, Eleanor Vasser (James) and Ethan Barnett (Sequoia); and his great grandchildren, Anastasia, Haley and Ellorah.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Tehachapi First Baptist Church (1049 S Curry St, Tehachapi, CA 93561). Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Wood Family Mortuary (321 W F St, Tehachapi, CA 93561). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Bakersfield National Cemetery (30338 E Bear Mountain Blvd, Arvin, CA 93203).
