She is survived by: her parents, Ralph Waldo Emerson and Jackie Alicia Collins; her daughter LeAnne M Wood (Chad Wood); her grandchildren, Jakob Wood (Jasmine), Emma Woodstarr (Genevieve) and Kyle Wood; her daughter Theresa Shutt (Barbie Shutt); her granddaughter McKenzie Kanczurzewski-Allen (Demonty Allen); her great grandchildren, Ava, Demonty Jr. and Aurora; her son Troy Edward Shutt; her sisters, Susie Emerson and Cathy Emerson; her niece Alicia Sacko; her sister Pattie Thomas (Trent Thomas); her nephew David (Sara); her sister Julie "Diane"; her nibling Crissy (Ryan); her daughter Leanna May; her grandchildren, Brandee Hannah, Katielee Swanson and Emily Swanson; and her cousins, Shelly and Darlene of Billings Montana. She is also survived by her 4 sisters, many other Cousins on both her Mother's side of the family and her Father.

In 2020 Debbie took the opportunity the COVID pandemic gave her and started a Masters degree in Cyber Security at Colorado Springs University.
