He was predeceased by: his parents, Jens Rasmussen and Altje Rasmussen; his wife Lorraine; and his siblings, Ellen Hoeck and Gene.
He is survived by: his children, Jim of Eugene, OR and Joanne Magazino (Carmen) of Temecula, CA; his grandson Matt Magazino (Natalya) of Carlsbad, CA; his great grandchild Milo; his grandson Nick Magazino of North Hollywood, CA; and his brother Bob (Lori) of Hutchinson, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
