With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Joseph Calka Jr. of Thousand Oaks, California, born in Port Chester, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 12, 2024. He was predeceased by : his father John Joseph Calka, Sr.; and also Viola Mead (Calka). He is survived by : his wife Constance Joan Calka (Triolo); his daughter Lisa Ann; his son-in-law Frederick John Dalton; his grandchildren, Megan Pearla (Jim Clithero) and David Francisco; his great grandchild John Joseph III; his daughter-in-law Heidi (Wouters); his grandchildren-in-law, Adam Michael, Travis Joseph (Heather), Ryan Martin and Jordan Christopher (Emily); his children, Michael Joseph and Marianne; his granddaughters, Diana Macari, Maria Elizabeth (Isaac Cinzori) and Leah Catherine; and also, Avenleigh Ferrell, Aubriella Rose, Landon John, Elliot Christopher and Linda (Guy).

A rosary was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Boyko & Reardon Telegraph Road Mortuary & Cremation (15 Teloma Dr, Ventura, CA 93003). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church (3175 Telegraph Rd, Ventura, CA 93003).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mary Health of the Sick, 2929 Theresa Drive, Thousand Oaks, CA 91320, to whom the family wishes to extend their most sincere gratitude for their devoted care for John.
