Richard leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Richard’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Richard will carry forward his memory in their hearts.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia; and his daughters, Teresa Renison and Kathleen Peterson. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks-Griffin Memorial Park, Mortuary & Crematory (5600 Lindero Canyon Rd, Westlake Village, CA 91362). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Julie Billiart Church (2475 Borchard Rd, Thousand Oaks, CA 91320). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Chapel of the Oaks (5600 Lindero Canyon Rd, Westlake Village, CA 91362).
