He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mendonsa and Anna Mendonsa; and his brother Tony Mendonsa. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Thornton (Brian Thornton) of Hanford; his grandsons, Ryker and Reece Thornton; his significant other Paulette Carpenter of Tipton; and his siblings, Rose Franco of Tulare, Theresa Carvalho (Tony Carvalho) of Riverdale, Joe Mendonsa (Eileen Mendonsa) of Porterville, Frank Mendonsa (Marchelle Mendonsa) of Tulare and Jack Mendonsa (Pat Mendonsa) of Tipton.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Valley Children's Healthcare in John's honor.
