He was predeceased by: his sister Sadie Tashima; and his wife Wini Tasaka. He is survived by: his children, Diane Hamachi, Cindy Rhatigan and Derrick Tasaka; his grandchildren, April Hamachi, Lynsey Hamachi, Ryan Rhatigan and Alex Tasaka; and his siblings, Masa Tasaka, Ayan Shioji, Misa Yamane and Kimi Taise.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Green Hills Memorial Park (27501 S Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275).
