She is survived by: her husband Herbert Kaku; her children, Jeri Ritchie (Chester) and Douglas Kaku; her granddaughters, Brooke Ritchie and Jenna Ritchie; and her siblings, Aileen Kuboyama, Thelma Okino, Stella Uehara and Grant Uehara. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
