She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Victor Hasson and Rose Levine; her husband Leon Levy; her children, David, Robert and Carrie; and her siblings, Ron and Shirley. She was also cherished by her husband, 3 children, 7 grandchildren, 7 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations in her name to the Rhodes Jewish Museum or Holocaust Museum Los Angeles, as a testament to the culture she always cherished.
