“It is December 1, 2020 and I am watching the Rose Parade, as I do each year from my home in North Dakota. I was a proud member of the Roosevelt Roughrider Band from Fresno, CA, under the direction of Duane Weston. We were the first Fresno Band to participate in the parade in 1963. We couldn't have been prouder or loved Mr. Weston more than that day. We were 110 strong and loved, loved, loved our Director. Rest in peace dear friend. Forever in our hearts! Donna (Kerns) Young.
