He was predeceased by: his mother Ruby Bishop; and his siblings, Jack Greenwood, Hazel Bishop, Charles Bishop and Verna Snell.

He is survived by: his wife Linda; his stepsons, Kevin Fritz (Sabrina) of Washington and Jason Fritz (Nicole) of Waterford; and his brother Donald Bishop of Vallejo.
