He is survived by: his spouse Gurbaksh Kaur Garcha; his children, Navdeep Bains (Balbir) and Sukhdeep Garcha (Guminder); and his grandchildren, Amandeep, Harpaul (Kiranjit), Jasdeep, Harinder and Simran.
