Barbara Joan Murphy Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Joan Murphy of Turlock, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 2, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Joan Murphy to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Merrill and Violet Merrill; and her husband James "Jim" Murphy. She is survived by: her children, Todd Murphy (Sheryl) of Wylie, Texas, Scott Murphy of Turlock and Shara (Randy) of Turlock; her brothers, Dan Merrill (Jerri) of Placentia, Clark Merrill (Sue) of Turlock and Allen Merrill (Carla) of Turlock; and her grandchildren, Amber, Jared, Kylee, Shaun, Derik, Lindsey, Annistyn and Ridge. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Barbara's memory be made to the Turlock Pregnancy and Health Center.
