He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Hillberg and Hanna Swanson Hillberg; his sister Vera; his former wife Merlyn; and his great grandchild Merrick.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Pettus; his children, Ron (Aila), Rob (Sherrill), Loren (Michele) and Ann Seitzinger (Newton); and his grandchildren, Brent Hillberg, Jeff Hillberg, Melissa Hillberg Sandoval, Isabelle Hillberg Bruns, Claire Seitzinger, Kurt Seitzinger, Joel Hillberg, Daniel Hillberg, Joslyn Hillberg Hamilton and Lynsey Hillberg.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (640 N Minaret Ave, Turlock, CA 95380).
