He was predeceased by: his mother Gerry Cheney. He is survived by: his father Jack Cheney; his wife Roberta; his children, Brandon Wilkinson (Kristen) and Alissa Hill (Brett); and his sister Kim Ekholm (David). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; his many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (1660 Arbor Way, Turlock, CA 95380).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dave's honor may be made to Turlock High School Scholarship Fund (memo Dave Cheney Scholarship) at 1600 E. Canal Drive, Turlock, CA, in support of an annual scholarship established by his family in Dave's memory.
