The passing of Donald J. Smith (Turlock, California) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 3, 2025 at the age of 95. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. "Cantaloupe" Smith and Rose M. Smith; and his sister Marian Smith Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Hammond; his children, Stephen Smith (Kathleen) of Turlock, CA, Sally Robinson (John) of Woodside, CA and Stuart Smith of San Jose, CA; his grandchildren, Hilary Callis (Neill) of Turlock, Alec Smith (Hillary) of Turlock, Heidi Rosengren (Tyler) of Belvedere, CA, Gretchen Rawles (Spencer) of San Francisco, CA, Jamie Smith and Julian Smith of Valencia, Spain; and his great grandchildren, Daniel, Elin Callis, Owen, Beau Smith, Annika, Aksel Rosengren, Ainsley and Blythe Rawles.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist (1660 Arbor Way, Turlock, CA 95380).
