He is survived by: his wife Carmen Tovar; his children, Ismael Tovar Jr., Nora Lynn Tovar-Mani (John) and James Libby Tovar; his siblings, Andres Rangel, Santos Tovar (Maria), Olga Perez (Jesus), Mary Silva, Gonzalo Tovar (Yolanda), Ruth Silva (Enrique) and David Tovar; and his grandchildren, Robert Balagot Jr., Xavier Mani, Marquis Balagot, Ismael Tovar, Jasmyen Mani and Braylon Balagot.
