With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Michael Mercado of Turlock, California, born in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, who passed away on November 23, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Miguel Mercado and Beatrice Urueta; his sister Stella Mercado; and his nephew Joseph Vasquez. He is survived by : his siblings, Robert Mercado (Lucy), Mark Mercado (Patricia), Mark Anthony Mercado and Mary Ellen Vasquez; and his daughters, Jennifer Jepsen and Melanie Barragan. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
