He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Bell Chandler Rigney and Elmer Allen Rigney; and his siblings, William Ray Rigney of Turlock, Louis Fredrick Rigney, Raymond Thomas Rigney of Oklahoma City, Christine Elizabeth Kellison of Turlock and Jean Kathleen Kelly of Chicago.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Rigney of Turlock; his children, Terry Alvarez (Tony) of Folsom, Steve Rigney of Oakland, Louis Rigney (Melissa) of Danville and Danita Kelly (John) of Livermore; and his stepsons, Michael Wetzlich of Turlock and Scott Wetzlich (Wendy Weitzel) of Davis. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
