She was predeceased by: her husband Donald McDonald; her son Douglas McDonald; and her grandsons, Donald McDonald, John McDonald and Alex McGunigle.

She is survived by: her children, Dan McDonald, Dennis McDonald, Charmaine Stammerjohan (Richard) and Cynthia McGunigle. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
